Michael Barrett, Chief Information Security Officer, PayPal, Inc.
Michael Barrett is the CISO for PayPal. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the security of PayPal’s 115M active accounts worldwide. He oversees the information systems and services that protect the integrity and confidentiality of PayPal customer and employee information. Before joining PayPal, Mr. Barrett was VP of security and utility strategy at American Express, where he helped define the company’s information security program and directed its internet technology strategy.
Previously, Mr. Barrett was president of the Liberty Alliance, an open-standards consortium focused on identity management standards and guidelines. He was the driving force behind the introduction and standardization of the Alliance’s federated identity concepts and he also co-chaired its identity theft prevention working group.
Mr. Barrett was twice named one of the ‘50 most powerful people in networking’ by Network World magazine, has been listed as one of ITSecurity.com’s top influencers in the security industry and was recognized as the ‘Information Security Executive of the year’ in 2010. He is a certified information systems security professional (CISSP) and a certified information security manager (CISM). He graduated from Brighton University (U.K.), where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science.

Ramesh Kesanupalli, Founder, Chief Alliances Officer, Nok Nok Labs
Ramesh Kesanupalli brings 25+ years of industry experience from both public and private companies. Before founding Nok Nok Labs, Mr. Kesanupalli was the Chief Technology Officer of Validity Sensors, where he built the software team, defined the product marketing strategy and was responsible for building successful customer and partner relationships.
Prior to Validity, Mr. Kesanupalli was the Sr. Vice President, World Wide Product Operations at Phoenix Technologies where he was responsible for engineering, marketing and business development. He was responsible for $25M+ operational budget and managing several hundred people globally. During 2004-2006, Mr. Kesanupalli was on the CTO panel for the US Federal Government for Cyber Security and Policy decisions.
Prior to Phoenix Technologies, Mr. Kesanupalli founded and ran Object Connect Inc/ Kinera Inc/ Telsima – a middle-tier software company for wireless Carriers. Mr. Kesanupalli was also one of the founding members of Network24, a video casting company on the web, which was acquired by Akamai Technologies.
Mr. Kesanupalli holds a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai, India. Mr. Kesanupalli also holds several patents in image processing, wireless software and filed several patents on online commerce and online identity.

Dongpyo Hong, Vice President, CrucialTec USA Inc.
Mr. Hong is Vice President at CrucialTec and responsible for new business incubation, developing strategic partnerships, and the marketing of new IT-related products for smart phones.
Prior to CrucialTec, Mr. Hong worked at Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., holding key roles in business analysis, purchasing, R&D planning, venture capital investments at the corporate office and in Samsung's Japan office.

Sam Srinivas, Product Management Director, Information Security, Google
Sam Srinivas is Product Management Director, Information Security at Google and is responsible for various external and internal security initiatives. His team leads Google's existing and new products in consumer strong authentication, such as 2-step verification, and he works in close coordination with Google's Identity team.
Prior to Google, Mr. Srinivas was Chief Technologist in the Security Business Unit at Juniper Networks. He came to Juniper through the $400M acquisition of a startup he co-founded, Neoteris, which established the SSL-VPN remote access category. Earlier, Mr. Srinivas was at Healtheon (WebMD), Microsoft Research and Rockwell. Mr. Srinivas has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Joe Pennisi, Director of Software Development, Lenovo
Joe Pennisi has many years of experience in developing new hardware and software solutions for the IBM PC Division and Lenovo. He has played a fundamental role in the introduction and exploitation of security-related technology in IBM/Lenovo PC products, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Trusted Computing Group.

Sami Nassar, General Manager, NXP Semiconductors
Mr. Nassar is general manager of Authentication product lines focused on anti-counterfeit and cyber security application markets.
Before joining NXP Semiconductors, Mr. Nassar held key executive positions in the high tech industry, among them, General Manager of the Advanced Solution Group at Renesas and Managing Director of Segments & Strategic Marketing for Hitachi and Managing Director of Schlumberger's now Gemalto telecom smart cards and systems, and founded a number of startup companies in the Silicon Valley.

Sebastien Taveau, Chief Technology Officer, Validity Sensors Inc.
Mr. Taveau has more than 20 years of experience in embedded solutions, mobile, software, and security. Most recently, at PayPal, he led the Mobile Ecosystem and Technology Integration group and has led the Mobile Disruptive Innovation team. He is a member of the eBay Inventors Club for his multiple patent contributions, and is a two-time recipient of the PayPalian Award. Additionally, Mr. Taveau, founded and led Fluctuat LLC and has held senior positions at Cardsoft, Renesas, Ridgerun, and Motorola SPS (now Freescale).
Mr. Taveau acquired a postgraduate degree in International Business Administration (DESS GEI eq. IBA/EBS) from the University of Paris 1 – Pantheon Sorbonne and an MS in Business Management from the University of Tours in France.

John Salter, Corporate Development, Yubico
John Salter has led Yubico's authentication at scale capability globally for the past five years, bringing the YubiKey to all who need to trust the net. He has guided the development of practical low cost processes and systems to deploy large scale strong authentication across a wide range of organizations globally.
Prior to joining Yubico, Mr. Salter's career spans 10 years of deep software engineering followed by 10 years of world-class sales at Oracle. For the last 14 years he has helped founder CEOs and CTOs in global tech businesses deliver their vision to customers with exits covering e-commerce, telecoms and mobile apps. Mr. Salter's BS is in Mathematics from Southampton University and MBA in finance from Cranfield.
